Album Notes

"Think Johnny Burnette Rock'n'roll Trio meets CCR in the 21st Century! Authentic but not dated? You bet!", Roy Williams, Managing Director of Nervous Records, UK.

This is the third CD from The Jime and features 16 brand new original rockabilly tracks written by Vince Gordon.

"From their musical ability and professionalism they are probably closest to the Stray Cats in comparison, but that doesn't mean they sound like the Stray Cats as they have their own style and that's good." Dynamite Magazine, Germany

Some call that style modern rockabilly or neo rockabilly. However, seeing that the original rockabilly from the fifties was a showcase for innovative songwriting and the latest in recording (think echo) The Jime themselves just call their style 'rockabilly'.

"The Jime are the new kings on the block!", Rockabilly Revue, USA.

These guys are much more than just a rockabilly band; they are a great band who can play rockabilly, country, surf, doo-wop, and straight-up rock and roll! Love the great guitar tone! Lots of guys over here would like to sound like that! Keep it up, and get over here to the U.S. of A. real soon!!!
