Jim has been deep into the music scene since mid high school in 1975. Early live performances included the Carpenters, Rose Bowl, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and artist tours throughout U.S. In the late 80\'s Jim started Carousel of Music, a musician based DJ company specializing in cross training live musicians (dozens of guitarists, pianists and vocalists) to cover both the live and dance portions of events. After producing 3,000 musical events primarily in New Mexico, always playing a few hours of live guitar, Jim has become one of the most recognizable guitarists in Albuquerque. Jim pursued his dream of writing, producing and recording a flamenco guitar album. His guitar styles range from classical & flamenco to jazz. While Jim\'s live sets always include some Santana, Beatles and Earl Klugh standards, \"this album is all about my musical roots\" Jim says. Some of his favorite groups that inspired his music range from the early jazz fusion found with such groups as \"Yes\" in the 80\'s and of course, Al Di Meola, the delicate but powerful statements found in Larry Carlton\'s licks to the aggressive flamenco of Strunz and Farah, Ottmar and the greats such as Paco! This album has lots of flamenco in it! ENJOY!!
