The Artist: Jim Harmon

Inspired by such musical greats as James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and John Denver, Singer/Songwriter Jim Harmon blends his own unique acoustic guitar stylings with a gentle, warm and engaging vocal delivery, bringing a fresh and inspiring interpretation to a variety of old favorites as well as three promising original songs. A father of three, Jim transports his listeners into the essence of childhood innocence, his soothing voice often imbued with a playful knowingness and tender appreciation of he simple message of the heart.

Jim's acoustic guitar arrangements formed the basis for many of the tracks on this album, most notably "What a Wonderful World". This is a truly unique and beautiful rendition of a timeless classic, styled and arranged as an homage to James Taylor,as a tribute to the great artist whose music most inspired and influenced Jim in his own musical journey.

The Producer: Steve Kaplan

Highly respected as a composer, performer and producer, Steve Kaplan's talents and credits span multiple musical genres. As an award-winning composer, Steve has contributed songs and musical scores to many popular television shows and films. His music and themes can still be heard today on the syndicated game shows "Jeopardy!"and "Wheel of Fortune". A highly accomplished pianist, Steve has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra,and has collaborated with many acclaimed jazz recording artists. He has also performed on hundreds of motion picture and television scores,working with legendary composers such as Bill Conti, Henry Mancini and Marvin Hamlisch. A recording artist in his own right, Steve released several albums as a member of the groundbreaking contemporary instrumental band, Zazen. A gentle and kind-hearted man, Steve Kaplan's generosity of Spirit made a lasting impression on all who knew him. He is loved and missed by many.
