ALL ABOUT GAS: When you think about the high price of Gas, the joke is on us, though a sick joke it is. We might as well learn to laugh about it, or at least try to. This CD, “ALL ABOUT GAS”, is a humorous take on the subject. Ten of the songs have an underlying message about as subtle as a sledge-hammer. The eleventh cut has a message as serious as a heart attack.

Listen and laugh about it, ‘cause WE ARE ALL IN THIS MESS TOGETHER. As well, anyone who is knowledgeable about country life knows very well WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU STAND BETWEEN THE BUCKET AND THE HOG.

ABOUT THE WRITER: Jim Hubler was a full-time Truck Driver, and part time songwriter and member of various local bands, (central Indiana) for many years. Now he writes stories and songs about Trucks, and Truck Drivers, as well many other subjects. He recently wrote a civil war novel, “THE CLIFFS OF LEAVENWORTH”, which is starting to catch on.


He likes to do one man gigs, playing his old J-50 Gibson Flat Top, while singing his self-penned songs, mixing in a little humor as he perches on a tall stool. He learned years ago that an audience that likes your material makes it all worthwhile. They’ll show it, and you’ll know it.
