Cherish is a wonderful, one-of-a-kind album featuring unique piano orchestrations of some of the best-loved songs of our time. Focusing on timeless popular songs from the 60’s and 70’s, this CD of instrumental music features piano on every song, with different combinations of accompanying instruments including cello, violin, flute, guitar, saxophone and harmonica. Several songs are arranged by the gifted Tony Kaye, and the end result is an outstanding presentation of pop-chamber music.

All 14 tracks are first-rate recordings. Besides three exceptional original compositions, particular standouts include “Walk Away Renee,” “Norwegian Wood,” “Mr. Bojangles,” “Lay Lady Lay,” “Come Saturday Morning,” and “By The Time I Get To Phoenix.” Truly a record that always feels fresh and never sounds dated.
