Album Notes

Jimmy Allen was Born 1942, in Melrose, Mass.
Started playing guitar at an early age of 7, was taught by his Father.

Started playing at house parties, and soon joined a rock and roll band called "The Nite Rockers", we recorded for RCA and toured with a couple of well know Rock and Roll Bands.

Soon after that he started his own GB band called "The Star Dusters", performing at various weddings and clubs throughout the Mass. area.

Joined the Army in 1963 and started playing in bands performing Country music for the NCO clubs.

Married Sheila Sullivan in 1966 and have two wonderful daughters and as of May 2004 a beautiful granddaughter, Olivia Katherine

The highlight of Jimmy's Country Music career came when Jimmy was inducted into The Massachusetts Country Music Hall of Fame in 1998.

Jimmy has been performing various styles of music, but mostly traditional country music for over 45 years, was opening band for various national country music stars, including Porter Waggoner, Kitty Wells, The Statler Bros, and many others, also performed on stage with Johnny Cash in the early 60's
Jimmy is still performing with his own band throughout the Mass. area.

This CD was done Live at the Sound Emporium Recording Studio where many of the top Country Stars of today and yesterday layed down their music tracks and did the vocal tracks elsewhere, Jimmy did his vocals at The SwitchYard Vocal Studio In Nashville Tenn, March of 2004 and was completed October 2004.
