Jimmy Savwah stormed onto the recovery scene on New Year’s Eve 1988 when he performed the 13th Step for the first time with his back-up singers "The Platitudes”. What followed was a frenzied roller coaster ride into the star-studded world of 12 Step recovery, which included headlining huge events, tabloid scandals, and frequent television appearances. (If you believe any of this, well, let’s just say- “keep coming back!”)

This CD contains historic recordings of the first time 13th Step was performed in public, and Jimmy’s outrageous appearance on late night TV’s The “David Better-Than Show” (you know, the show with “Paul Shame-Based and the World’s Most Codependent Band”)

Today Jimmy lives a quiet life dedicated to “service work”, making sure he’s always available for the newcomer. He continues to manage the infamous “Club Sleaze”, and makes rare appearances performing 13th Step, where he continues to sway unsuspecting audiences with his still effervescent “sleaze appeal!
