Alphabet Songs! Featured in September's Parenting Magazine as their Parenting Pick of the month! They say, "An awesome way to strengthen kids' alphabet skills!" Alphabet Songs contains an original song for every letter in the alphabet, plus the sounds of CH and TH. Each song is filled with its target letter sound. These 28 fun songs are rich in vocabulary and information, from dinosaurs to insects, from songs about echoes, to songs about curiosity. It contains a wide variety of musical styles: reggae, rock folk, rhythm and blues, and marches, using a variety of instruments. Educational and fun, this CD is 60 minutes of delightful music that prepares children for reading readiness.
Each song is sung by Jim Post, well-known folk singer. Jim won the 1997 American Library Award for Notable Recordings for Children. He also won Parents' Choice Gold Award, and he was commissioned by the National Fire Protection to write and sing fire safety songs for children. Jim is known best for his 1960 hit, "Reach Out in the Darkness," which featured him in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jim uses his unique tenor voice and talent to bring charm and fun to these toe-tapping, delighful songs. It makes learning the alphabet sounds, fun and easy!
