Album Notes

Considering the prevailing winds of softness that dominate rap these days, Jim Snooka should be a welcomed change of pace. His debut album The Gospels of Reverend Wallace, featuring nothing but hard, tough guy rhymes over raw, headbanging beats from DJ Bless offers an alternative for fans of 90's hardcore rap who are sick of all the corny throwback attempts that get hype these days. This album continues to honor the tradition of rawness set by the Dirty Dickens and Who Killed Kenny? mixtapes, both of which are worth tracking down. DJ Bless has really found his groove on this one. Pure hardcore without the corniness of intention.
