Album Notes

John Standefer and Jim Wallace have been friends since 1979 and have always enjoyed getting together to pick a few tunes. Both accomplished solo guitarists, they have rarely played together in public. Nevertheless, it began to occur to them a few years ago that they ought to at least save a little of the magic that their association has brought them for the sake of others. This recording project began as an experiment and became more or less a legacy. It's lucky for us listeners that they decided to record their unique collaborations for posterity. Although it often sounds like there are more than two guitars on a cut, every song only contains two guitar tracks (John and Jim).
“It is our hope that listeners will enjoy the guitar chemistry that goes on here, and that guitar players will get a kick out of the particulars! We dedicate this project to our patient wives, Sue and Kathie.” - John & Jim
