Album Notes

"I'm Fine" is the band's first full-length, an inspirational mix of old school rock and modern styles. Ranging from the ultra-slick groove and infectious hook of "Sex on Saturday" to the dynamic melodies and angst of "Cemetery Garden" and "Dust on a Hymnal", "I'm Fine" is a return to sincere, unbreakable songwriting at its best.

New York City street smarts, haunted Southern summers, some laid-back California sunshine and a global nomad from Florida combine to create Jinnrail, a straight-up rock band with unbreakable songs. After moving to New York following years of serious traveling, singer/songwriter Reade Tilley formed the band in 2003 with drummer Marc Jordan. A couple of years later, the two got sick of the snow and headed for the palm trees and girls in LA. Guitarist and Kentuckian Matt Wiley joined them to record the band's new full-length "Million Lifetimes," and local bassist Lance Causey jumped on board when the band started playing live in LA. The sound is straight-up rock with unmistakably psychedelic, Southern and classic British influences. Think The Who meets Lynyrd Skynyrd, with a shot of Doors and Johnny Cash. Songs have been featured in shows on FOX and MTV, and there's been plenty of regular airplay on XM, college radio, and international radio. The guys have years of solid gigging under their belts, having paid their dues in NYC before rising to play that city's best venues and complete national tours. Just out of the studio with their new record, "Million Lifetimes," Jinnrail is already hitting the LA scene hard, currently playing gigs at such luminary LA venues as the Viper Room, among others.

The Cult meets Nirvana in a uniqueness only defined as Jinnrail

A friend of mine had the tracks available to listen to and I have enjoyed the album ever since. True provocative and lyrical storytelling at its best with driving rhythms and energy that can best be described as the meeting of The Cult and Nirvana bundled-up tightly in a uniqueness which can only be defined as Jinnrail. Absolutely LOVE the album!! A definite must listen.

I got this CD recently and don't think I'll ever get over how awesome it is. While I don't like "Sidewalk" much, all the rest is absolutely first class. "Dust On A Hymnal" is particularly gorgeous. I haven't stopped listening to it since I started.
