Hi, thanks for looking into JIP. My name is Jim and I'm the singer / songwriter for this project.

This album , YEAR X, is a big step for me. I always wrote music for fun as a personal hobby of sorts.
I've given my life to music. At the age of 14 I started writing songs. At 15 I saw my first concert Page / Plant in 1995.
From that point on I've seen nearly 1000 concerts. I bought my first guitar with my own money that same year. From that point I've written and recorded hundred's on my own songs.

Music has alway had an influence on my life. Be it helping with
life experiences or just needing to have a good time.

This year 2011....I felt it necessary to write an album and create it the right way. I utlized great producers and studios in the Chicagoland area.
I worked with great friends to help and amplify the sounds and balance. I even got to work with one of my favorite artists, Tracy Bonham.

Please enjoy this record. If is jammed full of passion and good intent.
This is a years worth of work and a lifetime of thought.
