Album Notes

The Country Caravan Story

Howdy everyone my name is J. K. Coltrain and I hope that you enjoy this our first edition of The Best of The Country Caravan. I started The Country Caravan to help promote True Country Music to fans around The World.

I recalled my own childhood days growing up and watching & listening to the great shows like The Opry, The Camel Country Caravan, The Midwestern as well as The Louisiana Hayrides. In fact members of my own family were performers on those fine shows. So it was always my dream to someday perform on those same shows but by then they were no more.

So that's why it became so important to me to carry on the family tradition as it's getting harder and harder to find those kind of shows and that kind of entertainment these days. I was bound and determined not to let REAL country music fade away as a long forgotten memory like so many of those great shows did. That's how the idea behind The Country Caravan came to be and I hope that you enjoy this our first of what I hope will be many.

JK Coltrain
