Album Notes

John has been a musician for most of his 50 plus years. Playing and recording in Los Angeles since the late 60's, mostly with rock bands, John moved to Visalia, CA. in the late 70's for a more relaxed way of life. It didn't take long before he joined The Charades, a popular local soul band, playing bass, singing and recording a 1987 album produced by Motown producer, engineer Art Stewart. Since that time John has played as a regular member of Fat Tuesday, Beatlesque Revolver, and The Loose Gravel Blues Band along with Charade reunion tours.

John's interests lay beyond playing in dance bands and he started refining his guitar playing in the Delta and Piedmont styles for a solo career playing blues. Since he released hs first CD, "Dirty Low Down Blues", John has been playing the coffeehouse circuit in the San Joaquin Valley. His success has led to the release of his second CD, Recorded live at Brewbakers, in Visalia, CA. This CD is a mix of traditional and more modern blues. If you can't see John Keith in person, sit back and enjoy this album in you home or automobile and you'll find out how good the blues can be.
