This ten-track collection combines a classic sixties, rock sound with shades of country. Justin composes, sings and plays guitar and is joined by other talented musicians who contribute bass, drums, piano, sax and backing vocals on this project. The CD flows on short, radio friendly tracks with snappy rhythms throughout. Love experiments with his vocals to create subtle style changes from track to track. The instrumentation is energized and intriguing. Love's songs explore various moods and tones from smoky, vintage vibes found in 'The Star You Are' to country-fueled songs such as 'Personal Angel', the up-tempo 'Texas Style' and the witty 'Jaywalking'. 'Ice Streamers' and 'Am I Right, Am I Wrong' return to a more classic rock style with catchy, cool bass lines and drums. Female vocals melt into Justin's as he sings the hook about his baby.
