After an adventurous childhood which included hitch-hiking several times across the USA and a successful career as an entertainer that found him performing for audiences worldwide including world leaders and living legends, John Leslie Walsh has compiled his experience into his official debut CD entitled, "The Greatest Show On Earth".
A self-taught guitarist at the age of 10, he then picked up the piano at 12 (strong kid!). Writing all of the music and performing all the instruments himself, he released a homegrown album on cassette when he was 15 in his hometown of Chino, California. By 17 he landed a regular gig at a pizza joint in a local college town and he was off and running.
The next few years found him performing across the USA, Ireland, South America, Europe and beyond for the likes of The President & Vice President of The United States and their families, The Prime Minister Of Israel & Dr. Albert Einstein to mention but a few...
His golden voice and musical skills can be heard on numerous soundtracks, scores and jingles in theatres and on TVs & radios around the world including Ray Greene's "SCHLOCK: The Secret History of American Movies", with Brad Paisley for Rotolo Chevrolet, The San Francisco Transit Authority and Longo Toyota, the largest dealer in the world.
"The Greatest Show On Earth" combines classic country & western influences with a fresh, contemporary pop feel giving it a very wide audience appeal. It is teeming with infectious hooks on every cut, catchy instrumental riffs & arrangements, clever & moving story lines and those incredible trademark John Leslie Walsh harmonies.
Step right up and enjoy the performance. Y'all.
