Album Notes

Jimmy Lee Young, and drummer/percussionist/co-executive producer Gil Gabaldon II, have done it again! With 8 hot new tracks, and 3 bonus remakes from their first CD release, the boys are flying to new heights. Producer Dennis Dragon, is a Grammy winner in the category of Album of The Year, for 1975's "Love Will Keep us Together", by 'Captain and Tennille'. Dennis audio-engineered the CD and mixed it. This marks Dennis' return to music, as he puts it, "With a hot new CD and a hot new act! There isn't a weak song on the CD! The CD has such listenability!". Joined by such talent as John Locke, former keyboardist for the 60's and 70's group 'Spirit', and Dennis himself sprinkling percussion, the CD is harder, fuller and the music is more magical than ever! Also, notable L.A. drummer Moyer Smith signed on to add that touch of proffessionalism that Gil is achieving more and more! Moyer and Gil both play throughout, with Moyer taking the lead, and guiding Gil through percussion parts with his strong presence. Live band regulars ,bassist Vic Grady, and backup singer Carl Rabun also appear. Notable facets of the music are the edgier moods, and the vocal harmonies by Jimmy and Carl. L.A. guitarist Ricky Lewis literally blows our minds with textured riffs, and an explosion at the end of the CD on "Skins". Says Jimmy," He's the best I've heard on electric in a long time. He knew exactly how to give us what we were looking for instantly. Very rare, very talented!" Jimmy adds his talent with more aggressive accoustic, 6 and 12 string guitar, and his heavy backing vocal style. The songs feature no collaborations, except for "Calling Out", one of the 3 remakes featured, co-written with longtime friend, Jim Chatterton. This is definitely Jimmy's solo debut. Dennis and Jimmy are already cooking up more projects for summer/fall. Grammy-winning producer Dennis Dragon has done it again!!!
