Born into the Portland Songwriter scene not more than five years ago, J*Malem has found an identity and niche very much his own. Concentrating on honest lyrics and a simplistic songwriting style, his play on words and relatability make him a fan favorite. After releasing his debut album, "Beginnings*End" in 2005, then following up with a live album, "Live @ Mississippi Studios", to be released Oct. 19th, Malem is hitting the studio immediately to begin his next venture.
