Album Notes

This is a historical album within the famous song “ Lem pa we soley la” (When I don't see the Sunshine). The song was written by Jean Michel for the Catholic radio station Radio Soleil, which supported the fight against the former dictator Baby Doc Duvalier in Haiti. It was distributed clandestinely on a small tape cassette and no one knew the singer until Duvalier left Haiti in Feb -1986. People were arrested for singing it in the streets of Port–au–Prince. Also you will find some other hit songs like "Je voudrais etre un artist", "Djoumba Djoumba" and much more,
