The J. Michael Day Trio is a Family Band with J. Michael Day Jr. on Piano, J. Michael Day Sr. on Bass and Don Duprey on Drums. Mikey and Mike have been playing together since Mikey was 8 years old. They have had several Classic Rock, Blues/Jazz bands over the years and have played with many great musicians while running the Blues/Jazz jam sessions at JJ's Blues Lounge for 2 years. With it's forays into Smooth Jazz, Latin Jazz and Original Jazz, The J. Michael Day Trio is a true original in the South Bay music scene, improvizational, delightfully unpredictable, amazingly original and dazzlingly talented.
