John Mackay is an award-winning composer and keyboardist. His recordings have garnered rave reviews across the country. Although his career is primarily focused in the jazz idiom as a pianist/organist and composer, he composes in many genres, including contemporary classical, theatre, choral, pop and even country music. His music has won awards in all of those genres.

He presently lives in Los Angeles where he leads an active musical life, performing, composing and teaching.
