JoAnna's love for music really pours through in all she does, and it shows.

Although young, her musical background is quite varied, which was key in setting the stylistic tone of "Daydreamin' Again".

It is an offering of vocal and musical versatility that blends naturally into a style that is all her own.

Country, Rock, R & B, Gospel- it's all in there, and it got there through a unique combination of JoAnna's education and musical background.

"My Classical training is really what I feel developed the overall strength and flexibility in my voice. It also helped to firmly instill a strong passion for music that made me realize that I could never fully enjoy life if music was not a part of it."

She soon began exploring other styles of music and began shaping her voice into the versatile instrument it is today by taking advantage of the various opportunities in her home state of Iowa and later in the Michigan area.

Her path led her through local theatre, churches and choirs, and local clubs and studios.

It proved to be a road that exposed her to many styles of music, eventually leading her to a fondness for what would ultimately give her the perfect avenue of her unique artistic expression, Country music.

"In Country music, I found that I could fully express myself, both musically and emotionally, in my performing and songwriting. It provided an avenue where all my influences could come together in one expression of who I feel I really am."

With this in mind, she began to explore exclusively the expressive opportunities that country music could afford her, prompting a move to her current home of Nashville, TN.

With her feet firmly planted in the outlet of country, she began writing and exploring songs for what would become "Daydreamin' Again".

"I spent two years writing and looking for the music for the album. I wanted to find the right music to reflect my personality and who I am. I didn't want the music to fabricate anything that wouldn't be representative of me as a person or as a musician. I wanted the songs to be an extension of who JoAnna Reeves really is."

The mix of songs has proven not only to successfully express who JoAnna really is, but also conveys her stylistic versatility and, above all, her burning passion for music.

Whether it's Country, Rock, Classical, or her unique combination of all of her influences, it will always be genuinely JoAnna.
