Album Notes

Joanna Mell is a classically trained harpist residing in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. After the illness and death of a close friend in 1990, she discovered the powerful effects of music and now uses the beautiful and soothing tones of the harp to promote healing and relaxation.

She has a ministry playing for those who seek peace and comfort, as well as healing and well-being. She has created this CD of harp music to be used for inspiration and meditation, as well as healing and worship. Joanna is founder and director of the Heart of God Harpers. The songs I have heard so far on this CD are very relaxing and played beautifully. The only problem is, the CD is so relaxing and peaceful, I keep falling asleep by the 4th song. It is wonderful to be able to get some rest. I also bought a copy of the CD for a good friend, who is recuperating from broken ribs. He and his wife both love the CD, and also found the music very relaxing. This CD is a blessing.

Exactly what was needed for a relative on hospice.

I first heard your CD at Robert Wood Hospital NJ when my husband was seriously ill. I now have it and listen quite often. Then when a relative was diagnosed with a terminal illness, I sent him one and the family was so impressed. They are also from Bucks Co. Pa. and familiar with the lake pictured on the cover. I plan to share it with our sharing ministry at church as it is so relaxing and soothing.
