Album Notes

BOURNE IN HOLLAND is another in a series of CD theme projects created by singer / entertainer Joe Bourne.

After living 25 years in the Netherlands, Joe was exposed to many great compostitions of all styles and generes performed in the Dutch Language.

This language sung, is not one that you listen to easily while the melodies are often catchy and haunting leaving a lasting impressing.

It was decided that it was time that the world outside the Dutch borders should be treated to some of those great melodies.

So "Bourne in Holland" was born. 14 songs, some of Holland's greatest compositions translated into English.
