Album Notes

In 1986, Joe Morra was a singer/songwriter/pianist, living in New York City. "My Pleasure" is his first album, recorded on vinyl and distributed independently by Whizzz Kid Records. The songs are piano-based pop tunes. The music is eclectic and heartfelt, and the lyrics are drawn from Morra's life experiences. Morra's voice is a rich baritone, expressive and versatile. He has enjoyed a celebrated musical career, and was once described by a New York critic as being "one of the most blindingly musical experiences in this town."

Formerly only available on vinyl and as a cassette tape, and long out of print, "My Pleasure" is now offered for the first time for digital download. The tracks have not been remastered--instead, what you hear is a reproduction of the original album, filtered through Pro Tools to add some warmth and depth.
