Album Notes

Ever seen a flying saucer? Come face to face with the little grey men? If so, you`re now an enlightened member of a highly exclusive club, and we`re not talkin` golf or tennis here either. Need I say that the memory of those unearthly moments, unexplainable "missing time" and blinkless eyes that peer into one`s soul will never fade away?
"Roswell Cover-up", the album, was written in part due to my own close encounters that were reported to the Airforce`s project know as "Blue Book" to the world at large. "Seeing is believing" they say, and though I rarely share the frightning details of the "blue light and creatures from another dimension" with non-believers or those who love to scoff, I did manage to capture some of the "chill" within the lyrics and music of Roswell Cover-up, the lead song itself.
Sure, I too have a diverse background to share with you, much like the majority of performers and songwriters who benefit from this incredible site do. I`ve been friends with and picked some licks with Roy Buchanan, taught the legendary Seymour Duncan a few of my favorite string bending techniques, shared a dressing room with Jimi Hendrix, performed opposite the remarkable John Denver, and the list of good fortunes and "elbow rubbing" goes on.
But what`s far more important than the "bragging rights" is the music itself, that along with the joy that comes from writing and recording it. I invite everyone to take a little trip on my musical ship, and while you`re at it, do take a second to play some of the zanier songs such as "World On Fire" or "Gotta` Get With The Program."
If you`re a movie producer, you might want to use Roswell Cover-up in your upcoming sci-fi flick. "They" (whoever they are!) tell me that it`s currently the best selling album on planet MARS! ROCK ON SPACE MONSTERS! SHOCK AND ROLL WITH THE ALIEN KINGS!

Set the phasers on fun.

Roswell Cover-Up is mostly pleasant enough stuff & even clever on occasion. The odder entries tend to shine, such as "Madhouse In Space" (similar to what might have resulted if Arthur Brown had collaborated with Alice Cooper), the Frank Zappa-esque "World On Fire" & "Rockin' With The Alien Kings," a song that sounds like an outtake from "Rocky Horror Picture Show." But it's the title track, an accusatory narrative, that sets the standard.
