Unique saxophone artist with a positive tone. Joe Wilson is referred to by many who have heard him, as quite possibly the next Kenny G. Please note: Sounds clips (samples) may not be digital quality due to uploading. Of course the CD is crystal clear.

Joes Bio:
Joe was born on November 7, 1982 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He is one of eleven children. He accepted Jesus Christ in life when he was very young and has been sold out for God and His will since about the age of 15. Growing up he always had an interest in music, but it never clicked. He started music late in my life at the age of 14 beginning with the recorder in a home school ensemble for one year and at the end of it he really developed a passion for music.
When he was 15-1/2 he was sitting in church and God spoke to him and said. "Joe, I want you to play the Saxophone for me", and he said "ok". The funny thing was he didn't even know what a saxophone was but he believed and just followed God's word that he had said to him.
On his 16th birthday he was blessed to have his first saxophone. In two weeks he began playing in church and within the next year and a half played in over 100 to 150 functions in the New England and Tri- State area. During the next three years he would write and record music with local artists and studied under a private instructor who is now one of his closest friends.
At the age of 17 he finished his first six song EP and six months later he had his first full album completed. When he was 18 he started his own music ministry and company called L.I.G.H.T. Ministries which stands for Lord. Inspired. Godly. Humble. Talents.
Joe says: It is only by God will I live and move and have the testimonies to share and be a light through the music He gives me.
Joe has played to many standing ovations at various venues. In 2004 Joe was nominated for this album for an IGMA (Independent Gospel Music Award) for Producer of the Year.

Very creative saxophone theme type music, with jazz, hip hop, pop, dance, rock and even new age nuances. His latest album Still on the Journey is even better and this is the one that was nominated for an award.
