Album Notes

As a MUSICIAN, Joe Wood has traveled the world for decades... playing music his own way, while captivating audiences who stay true to his brand of music.

Each song on this record, though unique in style, all have an underlying roots feel that live at the core of each composition.Joe Wood tenacious writing style and powerful Morrison-like voice create a performance that mysteriously growls while soothing you from you from one song to the next.

Having gained fame over the years, Joe Wood remains true to his craft while evolving as a student of the Chicago and Delta blues. Having performed with legendary influences such as BB King, Buddy Guy and Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Wood evokes a unique style and powerful performing presence.

Born and raised in Long Beach, California, singer/songwriter JOE WOOD has built a reputation for following his own vision and changing the pulse of the early OC scene of the 80's with his own brand of blues-forced punk rock. Too bad Joe Wood wasn't playing at The Blue Cafe that night...I had to have his CD. I gave it to my husband for Valentine's Day! He was elated! The next time I visit the LA area...we'll find you - Joe Wood!
