Joey Gaydos Jr. came to public attention as "Zack" the 11 year old guitar prodigy in the movie "School of Rock" starring Jack Black. Since then he has toured the world attending premiers and performing for audiences everywhere.
Joey started playing guitar at age 9 and has become an accomplished multi-instrumentalist. Now at the age of 13, he has released his debut CD. Along with searing guitar solos and hard rock riffing, Joey shows his versatility by handling all vocals, mandolin, and keyboards.

    Although I enjoyed this CD, I think it was rather poorly recorded. It is not until you really get into the CD that you realise that Joey has a good voice -- because initially the vocals seem to be weak in volume and tone and are overwhelmed by the guitar. Maybe the placement of the microphones was at fault, or maybe it was the mixing. But I don't think this release does Joey full justice, which is a great pity.

    I've been a radio broadcaster for 30 years. I've heard lots of rock n' roll. Don't let the age fool you. This is a great CD. When I saw "School Of Rock" I thought two things. One was that if this movie had come out in the early 90's it may have saved rock. The second was that these kids playing must have been Muppets or something. I couldn't believe they were really playing. On this CD not only does Joey play, he writes the music and his own lyrics. One talented dude. Get the CD! I've listened to it many time over and have even bought copies for friends. I even have one still shrink wrapped that I'm saving for when Joey's older and going on his 10th world tour. Then I can sell it on E-Bay and move to Florida. Well done! I can't wait to hear what's next.

    This is a great Rock CD, which stays true to the golden era of Rock'n'Roll! Not bad, considering Joey is so young, and plays most of the instruments himself. Actually, after hearing the great quality of this CD, I'd say it's pretty amazing! A great addition to any rock-lovers collection.

    Well first off, the guitar on this cd is outstanding. I'm a member of jofo, and i really hate to admit it, but the vocals aren't the best. The songs are well written, music is great, and don't get me wrong I like it. But I've hear better. But overall Well done Joey! =D

    this cd is okay. the guitar is good, but his voice isn't that great. when i first listened to "dizzy" i thought it was a joke. it grew on me though. the cd isn't the best, but it's a great start for joey.

    the cd is awesome! it has the right rhythym for people to enjoy dancing or singing along to. im a member on joey's official forum and us members have been anticipating this cd for quite a while and we are so relieved that it IS as great as he said it was going to be. he even let us here a few samples. it has just an amazing quality of sound. i fully recommend this cd to anyone who is willing to listen to the rocking rhythyms and the huge potential of this cd.
