The much anticipated acoustic album from Joey Harkum is finally brought to life by the FREEstate Workshop c/o Robert McFreshington. From start to finish this album will stand the test of time, with instant classics like Trouble, Respect, Regret and Lonely Nights. Some say Joeys voice is reminiscent of Bradley Nowell (Sublime's original lead singer) and that of Johnny Cash, but one thing for sure, it is one that is pure, honest and true. This album features 2 duets Make Things Rigth ft Skribe, and Stone Cold ft Jenn Grinels. Jenn also lends her vocal assistance on Satisfied and Trouble. A hip hop appearance by Baltimore based emcee and Bond & bentley band member Fresh Competition on Take Your Time, which also features Big Slop lending a hand on percussion. Speaking of Bond & Bentley, Ray Wroten lends a lead guitar and background vocals on Respect. Even the producer Robert McFreshington lends his harmonica to add an extra touch to Salvation. But this album, listen and enjoy, then listen again and again.
