While Joey grew up in the Nineties, his shows sizzle with intensity that evokes the spirit of his main inspiration: the legendary voices of classic soul and R&B. By an exquisite merger of talent, taste and passion, Joey Pearson has become a dazzling singer and performer in his own right.

Joey Pearson was born in Southern Georgia, a state that has spawned musical giants like Ray Charles and Otis Redding. In the diverse neighborhood that comprised his world, radio served up a swirling gumbo of great music-soul, gospel, blues, rock, pop and R&B. Joey's young ears absorbed it all: Stevie Wonder's Motown stylings, Otis Redding's deep soul, as well as mainstream pop from early favorites like Elton John and Celine Dion.

Joey began to sing at an early age, without special encouragement or schooling. Listeners who experienced the voice behind the door were startled to discover they had been humming to the vocals of a fourth-grader!

The title track, Mirror Image is insanely good and an instant hit.... now I notice that Joey wrote this, words and music, himself! This is beyond incredible! Look out world, here comes JOEY PEARSON! If you buy any CD this year, this decade, you must buy this one. I am completely jaw-dropped and numb how good this kid is, and how good this CD is. It's perfection on every single track! This has more good songs on it than in most collections of 5 CD's or more! It's just amazing, and to everyone involved with putting this together, you did an unbelievable amazing incredible job! Again, I am completely floored! WOW....

    I just have to say that Joey's voice sounds INCREDIBLE. His best vocal work to date. Joey has a unique voice. You wouldn't hear it on an adult, you wouldn't hear it on a little girl. You can ONLY hear it from Joey. It's one of those voices that grabs your ear, and when you're not listening to it, you want to be because you keep hearing it in your head. That kid DEFINITELY has soul. It's like he throws his heart, soul, and GUTS into his singing. Nothing sounds flat...I love that. It's like he wraps his voice around the notes. It's awesome. Joey, you've satisfied my ears once again!
