Album Notes

Joey Salvia was once the lead singer-songwriter/bassist for The Montgomery Cliffs. Long Lost Weekend is his second solo record. Written and recorded during a very bitter-sweet period in his life. The title track is a one man confession set to a middle-American musical landscape. Salvia includes songs about war....death...the loss of love, and forgiveness. Derek Jeter gives this dark and self reflective album a surprising playful spark at the near end of this fresh listen. A must buy record for anyone who needs truth and timelessness in their music. Here is a taste of an artist who will take you on a musical journey into his heart and beyond. Salvia goes on a Long Lost Weekend and takes us all with him.

Long Lost Weekend

Excellent CD. Loved it. My husband's CD (now deceased) is also on CD Baby, under Steve Bardsley, if you wish to look at his review.
