Jogo's solo, debut CD is HOT AC - a musical painting with Pop, Rock, R & B and Jazz colors. His silky voice feels like soft velvet and is ever so passionate. His piano driven songwriting is very diverse and with an edge. His melodies and sweet arrangements will transport you and guide you throughout an emotionally moving and stimulating, yet very relaxing voyage. There seems to be a surprise waiting for you at every turn. "Wounded" and "Play It As It Lays" are haunting, touching and poignant. "If I Let Myself Go" and “Light In The Window”, the title track, are memorable, reminiscent and enduring. "The Best Part Of My Life" and Who's right, Who's Wrong?" will move you, literally! "Sleeping Princess" is a warm, heartfelt, devout and biographical piece, in memory of a beautilful, gifted and humble legend. Give Jogo a listen, you won't be disappointed - he will appeal to you, your parents and your kids! "If I Let Myself Go" was recorded by Dionne Warwick and Chuck Jackson on Wave/BMG Records and was originally recorded by Evelyn "Champagne" King on RCA Records. Here is what industry legends had to say: Stevie Wonder - "Great ear candy for contemporary radio today.” Michael McDonald - “...brings back a class and soulfulness you can’t get enough of.” Smokey Robinson - “A dynamic, wonderful rendition of a great song...” This is Jogo's debut rendition and recording of "If I Let Myself Go" and it is much more subtle and acoustic in style, as it highlights guitars, the B3 organ and the backing vocals. This new interpretaion and adaptation will take you for an engaging and mesmerizing spin, so put on your headphones and enjoy the ride! Jogo has toured extensively throughout North and Central America and the Caribbean and he plans to do so again, soon. He also very proudly contributes his songs and time to The Songs of Love Foundation. Scroll down to read or write a review of this CD!

What a Talent!

Jogo's "Light In The Window" is one of the best CD's I have ever owned. Jogo's clear and articulate voice shines throughout. Not since Karen Carpenter has a vocalist made me feel like I was sitting on their lap with them singing just to me until Jogo came along. Jogo's pianist skills are top notch. I've had the pleasure of hearing him live in person and he's a true professional in every sense of the word. Buy his cd or go see him live and you won't be disappointed.
