ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
John was born in Joliet Illinois and has spent most of his musical career as the lead guitarist for the Chicago area rock group Excalibur. As a singer/songwriter, John has penned several hits including the wildly popular "Biker Babes (in High Heels)" in which one on air personality described as a "bluesy, raunchy mixture of southern rock."

While John still performs with Excalibur, his attention has turned to his sister-in-law who was diagnosed last year with breast cancer. As she was going through treatment, one of her twin boys wrote a poem for his 8th grade class on how his mother's condition has changed both he and his brother's lives. Once John read the poem, he immediately began work on setting the poem to music. The outcome is the single "From Childhood to Adulthood." John plays all of the instruments and provides the double-track vocals for the piece. Proceeds from all sales of this single will be donated for breast cancer research.
