ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album, released in December of 2004 is a great compilation of works and songs written between 2000 and 2004. I hired many mercenaries and got lots of love from friends, to complete this. It is not meant to be a cohesive album, but, a journey...one that takes you through the cycles of life. It is much more like listening to iTunes on random than repeats of the same sound. There are many different writing and production styles on this and I am proud of that. It's not like I am signed or anything, right??

This album features many great guest musicians and loads of great songs. Please take a listen and judge for yourself.

Cheers

Unconventional, reactive, and great rock...
John Anaya is one of those...unadorned by fear, out there for all to see and left alone for you to discover. I am amazed...good luck! JBB

High voltage Americana, creating rocking sound waves to shock, excite and ignite your imagination.

Vaughn Lindstrom of Diegos Umbrella

John Anaya creates a brilliant new sound.
Melodic, soulfull, avant-garde, rhythmic....i cannot say enough good things about this album. John's guitar work is up there with Marc Ribot and his vocal creativity is inspiring. We have waited too long for this, keep it coming Mr. Anaya.

if Kid Rock was cool
this cd makes me wanna get makes me wanna get sloppy drunk and make out on the sidewalk. If Kid Rock was cool he'd someday make a record like this one. John sings with every limb on these songs-- all his voices PLUS his singing guitar; the ebo is his friend.
congrats John-- I'm lucky to have you on my record.
