Album Notes

Johnathan, from Wirtz, VA, began playing music at the age of 7. He started playing the Fiddle and later moved on to the Mandolin, Guitar, Bass, and the Banjo. He has won the titles of the 2008 South Carolina State Banjo Champion, 2009 Maury River Banjo Champ, 2010 Merlefest Banjo Champion and he has also won 1st place in the 2010 Maury River Mandolin Competition.
