Album Notes

Singer, songwriter and harmonica player John Bailey, has released his 10-song debut “One With the Blues,” recorded in January 2011 with backing from The Eric Ducoff Band. The band includes Bailey on vocals and harmonica, Eric Ducoff (Ryan Hartt & The Blue Hearts, Eric Ducoff Band) on guitar, Jeff “JB” Berg (Ryan Hartt & The Blue Hearts, The Howl, Eric Ducoff Band ) on upright and electric bass, and Nick Toscano (Ryan Hartt & The Blue Hearts, Eric Ducoff Band) on drums. Playing a mix of blues & roots styles, this stripped-down four-piece band of experienced musicians delivers the goods with passion and skill. The songs run the stylistic gamut from jump blues and Chicago/Texas shuffles to slow blues, ballads and harmonica instrumentals.
