John Buccheri

John Buccheri is a mild mannered guy with an extraordinary voice
that has touched the hearts of everyone who has ever listened to his music.

Father of four and happily married to his childhood sweetheart, John decided to pursue a career in New York’s financial industry where he has risen to the position of Vice President of a large brokerage firm. On weekends however, John and his band “Passion” play the circuit from nightclubs and weddings to corporate events and church socials, always choosing the best program to entertain his audience and always leaving them moved by his performance.

Over the years many people have asked John the obvious question, “Why haven’t you ever recorded?” So much so that he began questioning the choices that he made in life and decided to take his questions to a higher level to get some spiritual answers. You see, John always believed that his voice was a gift from God, because singing always came so naturally to him and since his voice had given pleasure to so many, John asked Jesus for guidance in his prayers. “Lord you must have given me this voice for something much greater. Please show me the way”.

In 1998, John’s prayers were answered when fellow musician songwriter and producer Artie Kaplan had occasion to work with him and recognize his natural ability to reach people with a song. After a number of meetings where they pondered life’s meaning and mutually agreed that God was the answer, they decided to embark on a recording project, which would be called “Songs Of Faith”

In all of the recording sessions, John drew spiritual strength from his Father and Mother whom he had lost several years ago. They were his biggest fans and the source of his greatest inspiration.
And so, this CD is offered up to Jesus in their names.
