John Emil has taken the lost art of slide guitar to a totally new direction. John came into the South Florida music scene in 2000 and has raised hairs with his Dobro and Acoustic Hawaiian Lap Steel playing. In his music you can hear haunting subtle hints of Delta Bluesmen Son House and Blind Willie Johnson but has created a unique style thats all on his own. He has integrated rich landscapes of Delta Blues, Country Blues, Folk, Bluegrass and lush Hawaiian sounds. He has delivered show stoping performances at venues and festivals as diverse as Rock, Blues, Acoustic, Folk and accepted by all.
