ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
john Lisu began as a young boy at the age of six using a home made guitar in the village he was brought up in. Even before he was born, his father committed him to the Lord in a similar manner to Samuel in the bIble and the rest is history. One of the hallmarks of his music is an intimate connection with his maker and the ability to transport listeners to the heavenly realms by the unique melodies in his music.
Uko hapa is the second album release from this once homeless young man who spent months living in a cardboard box before he found a home church in Dar es Salaam where he ministers to this day as a worship leader. If you are a fan of African music of the Gospel genre, this is an album that will not disappoint you.
