Long ago a dark presence descended upon a solar system. There were nine planets. The Darkness took many forms.
From it a Prince emerged. He took his wicked guise. Sublime pleasure and fearful terror plagued all peoples.
Their fear was his power. One by one, each planet was drained of its life's force. Content with the splendour of his destructive works, the Prince moved on in search of other planets. But one last flicker in life`s final fragile flame burned in one last planet.
Planet Earth is dark and silent. Devastated by war, pollution and disease, she now guards her last survivor... our Time Traveller, Robert Goldman.
The Traveller makes ready for his journey to distant Cassini`s Division of Saturn. Here legend has it that within one day of each century`s turn a mirror shall appear. Only the mirror can reveal the gateway to all dimensions of time and space.
For it must sight the Prince of Terror and destroy his devastation. The Traveller leaves his catastrophic world on 13 August 2067AD. His task is to return to the year 1472AD. Only there can he warn Planet Earth of all that lies ahead........

A broken back, subsequent surgery, a lengthy confinement together with the gift of an acoustic guitar were the catalysts for one of the finest pieces of work released on the compact disc format.
The Time Traveller`s message is simple, timely and universal:freedom from corruption, degradation and pollution. The characters are alive in John Loughman`s words and music. The double compact disc's story booklet tells their story in icons.
Robert Goldman is The Time Traveller. Pethual is his Father. Cassandra is the Time Princess. She is Goldman`s binding soulmate. Misha is a shadowy mystic. Charone is the fallen angel of Sydney`s notorious King Cross. The Black Prince is Satan, with Arthaegus, his disciple. A Martian Historian is encountered on their journey`s way.

REVIEWS.
ROBERT JAMES - GANGGAJANG.
I have to say that the solo by Harvey Mann (An Experiment in Time) is the most beautiful, stunning and jaw dropping piece of guitar work I've heard in a very long time. I'm inspired! Thank You.
BORIS MIHIALOVICH - AUSTRALIAN CONSOLIDATED PRESS.
I was more than surprised the first time I heard 'The Time Traveller'. This isn`t just another album;it`s truly a magnificent piece of work and belongs alongside epics such as 'War Of The Worlds' and 'The Wall'. John Loughman`s work takes you on a journey through space and time. Along the way, it delivers a masterfully tailored story backed with some of Australia`s finest contemporary rock music.
'The Time Traveller' sets new standards, not only for the Australian music industry but internationally. Essential listening for anybody serious about good music.
GLENN PORTCH - AUDIO DEFINITION LOUDSPEAKERS.
One of the finest pieces of work I have heard on the compact disc format. The recordings are peerless. "An Experiment in Time" has some of the best guitar work I have ever heard. Every so often we come across a recording that becomes part of our reference material. "The Time Traveller" has achieved this status, and for this, we thank you.
GAVIN FITZGERALD - THE SOCIETY OF AUSTRALIAN SONGWRITERS.
(Review of Sydney concert)'The Time Traveller' brought the house down to it`s knees. I have witnessed the birth of a musical masterpiece.
CHRIS GREEN - SOUND AND IMAGE
An intriguing find for me recently has been John Loughman`s amazing two-CD rock opera The Time Traveller. Within minutes I was drawn deeper into this time travelling yarn, driven along by singing and playing of the first order ;strong songs that stand up proudly outside their context;and instrumental virtuosity and improvisation with a drive and intensity comparable to Pink Floyd in full flight. Staggeringly good recording quality. The guitar fireworks of Harvey Mann are one of the main unifying voices of the entire epic,as he slides effortlessly from intense David Gilmore lyricism,to flash-Harry,Satrianesque hammered octaves, and a repertoir of modes and ragas all his own. The nearly two hour running time is musical meat, not bland garnish. Congraulations are due to all concerned.
LYNDAN WAYGOOD - COAST ROCK FM.
That has just blown me away for about the tenth time. I cannot stop listening to that song. 'An Experiment in Time'. Eight and a half minutes worth of bliss. The compact disc is called, 'The Time Traveller'. What a masterpiece!
LES WHITE - ON THE STREET.
A Grand Opus. With the current proliferation of rock operas doing the rounds,it`s refreshing to find one that isn`t a re-release of something that was made over 20 years ago. The time of 'The Time Traveller' is upon us!
TREVOR JACKSON - RADIO STATION 2MMM SYDNEY.
Congrats on 'The Time Traveller'-it really is a remarkable piece of work.
TONY HATCH - LYRIC PRODUCTIONS.
You may quote me-"The Time Traveller is a masterpiece".
THANK YOU MY FRIEND FOR LISTENING,
