John McAteer is a singer/guitarist from Little Rock, AR. He is a former member of the bands The Baileys and The Little Rock Reds. Dark Houses is his 2nd or 3rd solo record (depending on how we define short albums and EPs) and his first under the name John McAteer (previously known as Johnny Mac). Dark Houses was recorded throughout 2011 and the beginning of 2012.
