Cutting his musical teeth on Early Rock & Roll and Rockabilly earned Johnny Jay a place in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame along with other musical awards.
He sweetened the pot through the years by evolving into a true Country Music crooner that landed him in the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame.
Now here he is once again entering the Country/Gospel music gernre with a new CD, "His Love", on Blue Swan Records. It features seven oroginal songs
written with amazing inpirational creativity. He's recruited on keyboards, Gary Timbs,(Statsman's Quartet-Sonny James)Max Lee on guitar,
(The Drifters-Dave Dudley-Sonny James)along with Aaron Jay, Mike Owen, Preston Owen, and Dawn Timbs,(Ruby Boots-The Schimpp's family gospel group).
After all these years you wonder what keeps Johnny Jay Huhta's musical juices flowing and when asked, he offered the following; "Well, I wrote the song
'It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over', and I guess that's just the way it is".
