Album Notes

This third release by jazz pianist Johnny Todd features solo performances of arrangements and improvisation on a number of standards from the great American songbook. Also included is Johnny's version of the great Oliver Nelson composition "Butch and Butch", featured on the iconic collection "Blues and the Abstract Truth".
Johnny's original composition " Beverly Glen" was inspired by the location in Los Angeles of Herb Alpert's classy jazz club "Vibrato".
