Aloha! After three decades of performing in Hawaii, Johnny Williams has stepped off the rock to release his first CD on the west
coast. Johnny plays a beautiful Martin guitar named Island Girl. If you like Neil Young, you will like Johnny Williams. His musical
passion is inspired by artists like John Fogerty, Tom Petty, CSN, Sting and many other artists like them. Live in Studio, Vol. 1 features
contemporary Island songs that offers soothing vocals but plenty of uplifting energy.
The story begins in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the beautiful, tropical island of Oahu. Johnny recalls listening to his Dad along with his
maternal grandmother, Carmelita DeMello, sing and entertain family and friends with countless Hawaiian, Hapa Haole, Katchi
Katchi, and Chalang-a-lang music throughout his life. To Johnny, growing up on the island was natural. For each of us, Johnny's life
in paradise is extraordinary through the people he met on the islands, beaches and night clubs of Hawaii including many movie
stars, professional athletes and top entertainers like Don Ho. There was always a ukulele and hula dancers in his house. Music is a
way of life for Hawaiians and Johnny has performed most of his life for people who come from all around the world to visit the
beautiful Islands of Hawaii. Some of the most recent venues Johnny and his bands have played at in Hawaii include Tikis Grill and Bar,
Lulu's Waikiki Surf Club, Hanks Cafe Honolulu, The Row Bar at Restaurant Row and Palamino Restaurant. Johnny's enjoyable sense
of humor, love for life and extraordinary worldwide experiences delight, and even educate those listening. The theme of Johnny's
music performance could be summarized as "life changing" because countless people of all ages have expressed their appreciation
and excitement to Johnny for captivating them with his musical talent and passion.
