Album Notes

In 2002, John released his debut album, entitled RETURN. He joins his songwriting skills with artists Marc Judd and Scott Reed to complete an album of original songs that reflect his passion for Christ. Included is a duet with guest vocalist Shani Judd-Diehl (Faith First) and background vocals arranged and sung by well-known vocalist, Tim Davis. Combine that with powerful and emotional lead vocals and this freshman album proves to be a strong statement of John's commitment to use his gifts for the Kingdom of God.

John Owens lives with his wife, Kate, and their toddler Madeleine, in Redlands, California. Currently, he is resident physician at Loma Linda University, pursuing a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
While attending Pacific Union College, John sang frequently, including traveling with the Heritage Singers. John is now a worship leader at his home church, Crosswalk Ministries. John has been a guest vocalist with the Voice of Prophecy Family Reunion Concerts for the past 4 years. Along with giving praise to the Lord while leading worship, John enjoys sharing, through his music, about the peace and purpose he has found abiding in the presence of Christ.

John has recently released his sophomore album, "SATISFIED", a collection of worship songs which will be available on CDbaby any day now. Keep an eye out for this exciting project and pick it up early!!
