Album Notes

The VISION CD is made up of original Jazz piano compositions and jazz arrangements of well known classical music. Music styles are similar to Dave Grusin, Pat Metheny and Joe Sample. The Jazz CD is uplifting rhythmic music with soft orchestral strings. There are Jazz arrangements of Beethoven's Prelude in C minor, Mozart's Fur Elise and a Bach Fugue to original compositions.

The CD features John on piano and keyboards along with; Reed Vertelney - drums, Steve Pemberton - drums, Mark Converse - drums, Bob Birch -fretless bass, Kirk Smith - upright bass & Bruce Stone - Bass, Derol Coraco on guitar. Sequencing was done by John.

Jazz pianist John Pramik is from Akron, Ohio and has played piano since age 7. He received a Bachelor of Music Degree from Bowling Green University began working as a rehearsal pianist at The Interlochen Center for the Arts and The National Music Camp located near Traverse City, Michigan.

John has toured the world performing with musicians in Austria, Japan, and throughout the USA. After moving to Los Angeles, John studied at the Grove School of Music and has appeared as a pianist and keyboard artist in tv & movies: The Medicine Woman, A Match Made in Heaven, and The Truman Show with Jim Carrey, Ed Harris and Philip Glass.

Benjamin Buttons Movie has John playing ragtime piano as Brad Pitt's hands.
