This CD takes you to inspiring open places, from soaring over the snow covered volcanic peaks of the Aleutian Islands to sitting by a quiet bay. A few faster pieces keep the mood varied. Paul Kreider's flute is imaginative a free flowing. John Rich has been inspired by mountains, lakes and the sea ever since his early years in New Hampshire. He has always had a strong desire to capture a sense of place with music. Summers on the lake where "On Golden Pond" was filmed began forming his musical roots. In 1974, he moved to the Pacific Northwest. He has been creating musical images of these magical places ever since. He now lives in Garden Valley Idaho.
