John and Sandy are a husband/wife group that has been singing since 1993. Most singers and songwriters don't wait until mid life to get started but that's how their lives played out. They have one son who is in the Army. John wrote all the music and played all the instruments including guitar, banjo, mandolin, and bass. Sandy has a strong voice and sings from the heart. Their music reminds you of all day Sunday singing and dinner on the ground. Here's a range of songs from happy and uplifting to more serious and inspirational. The easy melodies and rhythms make it nearly impossible for the listener to keep from singing along or moving to the music in some way. As a whole, the collection is interactive, faith promoting, and from the heart. The result is definitely great; I gave it 5 stars because it's both great and a FIRST CD.
