ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I took my first guitar lesson when I was 13 years old. I was strongly influenced by the Beatles and the music of the sixties. Starting out learning on an acoustic guitar was a challenge being that the strings are harder to get used to. It didn't help when I got an electric that was worse. I continued with the lessons and then one day I met a guy who had an electric guitar where the strings almost laid on the frets making it easier to hold down and play chords. When he showed me that most of the songs on the radio had just simple chords, I really took off from there. I was able to trade in my electric on one similar to his. I became a guitar teacher 3 years after my first lesson, and joined in a band with my former guitar teacher. I traveled on the road with 2 bands in the seventies, and played behind artists like Crystal Gayle and the Hager Brothers and opened up for Jeannie C Riley and some other country artists. Rock and Roll was always my preference but I swayed more toward Pop and enjoy playing a wide variety of old and new rather than music from one era. I even like some rap, metal, jazz and classical music. I even took some Classical Guitar lessons just out of high school. I play the guitar, bass, keyboards and sing. Music has truly been the love of my life.
